Ray graduated High School, became a Mechanic's Apprentice and went on to become a fully licensed mechanic. He was the owner of Traditional Truck Service, Roadrunner Express, Pernon Truck Wash, and Pero's RV. Still having a passion for school, he went to Teachers College. And there you have it, a High School Teacher! Raymond was a musician and played drums from an early age of about 13 up until one week before Raymond died a sudden death November 20, 2009.
Sadly missed by all. We will never forget. ( Yes Ray "You are still the lead Dog")

Uncle Raymond by Brigitte Perreault
Uncle Ray, you were the greatest man we ever met
That is why we won't forget
The family and your friends miss you
That's why it's hard without you
I'll really miss you and your jokes
All your North Bay and Ottawa folks will be at the church, November 27th, 2009
And I also remember you liked your wine
Uncle Ray, it's to hear and say
That you have now passed away
Time flies fast
That I didn't get the chance
To say sorry for what I said
But now that you're gone, I'm caught in thread
I love you so much
Rest In Peace
