Gilles Perreault was born in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario on January 26, 1963 and passed away on February 4, 2008 in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Gilles is the son of Yvon and Jeanne-D'arc Perreault. Gilles was a well known autobody repairman and like his dad, Yvon, he was also an automechanic. He was the founder and owner of Perro Trio Autobody in Sturgeon Falls. Gilles' passion for cars was racing. He raced in North Bay, Elliot Lake and Kirkland Lake. Gilles idolized John Force Racing Team USA. His other passion like his dad and two brothers involved music. Gilles was a bass player and played with the Hubcaps, the brotherly trio. He was a versatile player and a backup vocalist. Gilles played music in country, rock, and blues bands. Gilles married Carol Verdon on July 23, 1988. Carol is the daughter of Ron and Evelyne (Mazerolle) Verdon of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario.
The only challenge Gilles ever lost was his fight with Cancer, on February 4, 2008.
Gilles and Carol had (3) three children.
